Malibu Now Photography by Scott A. Sant’Angelo for What Youth Issue 2

What Youth Issue 2

Armed with the notion that there’s (still? Still) something super romantic about Malibu, and its landscape, and 10-second rides, and the moneyed Angelino spillover, we asked a resident to take some pictures.

Scott A. Sant’Angelo is founder of the LA-based arts magazine Arkitip and curator of the city’s Project Space gallery. He’s also an outstanding photographer. Scott and his cameras live in Malibu, where they spent a month shooting two rolls of film for Issue Two of What Youth magazine, available this week in the online shop.

Above is some of the natural imagery Scott found around his home. It’s candid and a little haunting, a vision of modern Malibu. See the rest in Issue Two.
